Our Robotics Team is managed and taught by Mr.Pridemore and Mr.Barnett. Each year we have worked very hard combining our student's minds with the mentor's minds building the best robot. Ever since we started Robotics at Denison High School we have gone to the State Competition each year. Having gone 8 years in a row, we keep getting closer and closer to 1st Place.
Robotics This Year
CrossFire is the theme for this year's B.E.S.T Robotics Competiton. We have to build our robot to complete various firefighting related tasks. We also have to create an Engineering Notebook. Everything that goes into building and planning the robot goes in the Notebook such as protypes, measurements, and any ideas we had during brainstorming. Another important aspect of this competiton is the Marketing Presentation. Our President, Hannah Jansen, and some of the DHS Robotics' top students have to put together a Powerpoint presentation representing our robot and team. This year we hope to finish well in B.E.S.T so we can go on and compete at the State level.
Each year, Denison High School Robotics is sponsored by many generous donors.
